How Does It Work?
To leverage Microsoft 365 Multi-Geo, customers must purchase Multi-Geo licenses for each user that needs to be hosted in a Satellite Geography location. Once the licenses are purchased, Microsoft configures the Tenant for Multi-Geo support. This configuration process varies in time, with most Tenants finishing within a month.
It’s important to note that setting up a multi-geo environment requires careful planning and administration. Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online (EXO), OneDrive for Business Service Provider (ODSP), and Teams support Multi-Geo, with each service offering specific experiences in a multi-geo environment.
Enhanced Search Functionality
